Mandatory Membership Criteria
Membership is open to national non-profit organizations that meet the following requirements:
They must have been in operation for at least two years.
They must have official recognition at national level.
Their mission, or part of their mission, must be to combat social isolation and loneliness among older people.
They must actively involve volunteers in their services.
They must agree to respect and commit to complying with the statutes and regulations of the International Federation.
Application Process
1. Initial contact by email
Send us an email introducing your activities and requesting an initial meeting.
2. Initial meeting and application form
If the requirements are met and both parties wish to move forward, the Federation will send the organization an application form.
3. Review of the application
The Federation reviews the application and engages in further discussions with the organization to better understand its activities and explore the potential for collaboration.
4. Membership decision
New members are formally admitted by the General Assembly.
